Why am I likely to miss the #LondonMayor declaration for @wep_uk? Because I am stuck in a 5th floor flat with a broken lift, & have now been on hold to the @GuinnessHomes ‘emergency line’ for 17 mins without speaking to a human yet. This is a frequent occurrence I am told.

Hard not to be pretty upset right now. I’ve worked all year on these elections, and I wanted to be there to support @ManduReid in my role as her Deputy Leader. But instead I’m stuck on hold (20 mins - some ‘emergency line’, @GuinnessHomes), and unable to leave.

I just want to cry. This is why disabled people are terribly represented. Because we have all these additional battles to fight every day just to be in the room where it happens. Guess I’d best get comfy, @GuinnessHomes (25 mins now).
