hi i keep on seeing this on my tl and i just want to correct a few things:

first of all i am lebanese myself so ik what im talking about and for whoever made this i really appreciate it but there are a few mistakes.

1) unemployment rates have gone up way before covid due to the very bad economic crisis that our corrupt politicians+

+played a huge role in. people have been protesting since october 2019 and it has only gotten worse then covid came in and ADDED to the unemployment but the main reason was the economic crisis.

tw // beirut blast

2) there was only one (1) explosion that was very bad in beirut, lebanon’s capital that left many homeless and a lot have died because of it. there werent multiple “bombs and explosions” it was one big explosion
