when are u gonna get it thru ur heads that rosé was CHOSEN to represent both brands
there are for sure a lot of other ambassadors but for those people, it’s a two-way street. they need the brand to look great and to have something to be incorporated to their identities in the industry and the brand needs them for marketing.
on the other hand, both brands need rosé to sell. if u really think about it, she can not be a global ambassador. she can freely get sponsorships and collaborations from diff brands if she wasn’t but they quite literally courted her to say yes. those brands NEED rosé case closed
from what i know, ysl waited a whole year for rosé to say yes. they were THAT sure of her and that’s HOW MUCH they wanted her
out of all the “muses” and ambassadors they have, they chose an asian woman to be the one to represent their brand when other fashion houses couldn’t even begin to fathom fully committing to only one global ambassador. the thing that ysl and rosé has is literally divine ok
like cant u see how big it is that for over 6 decades, they had no one to represent them in the global stage until they met rosé? it’s almost like rosé is both ysl’s first love and ysl’s greatest love
other ambassadors here and there get stuff from ysl quite often cos of the geographical location but it’s not always from the current season. they send out stuff that’s meant for what kind of person/artist/influencer that person is cos they have a wide array of product line
but for rosé, they give her right away that’s meant for the current season. they give her exactly what they need the brand to sell cos rosé is now the face of ysl after all. literally try to look a lil deeper and you’ll notice this cos again, they need her
& for tiffany & co, right after they announced that she’s the new global ambassador, they specifically chose her for the global campaign of the tiffany hardwear collection inspired by an archive dating back from 1971. they WANT her to be the face of it
the collection was meant to capture the alluring spirit of a women in new york. come to think of it, she wasn’t born a new yorker yet they chose her to be the face of the global campaign that’s meant to be displayed in different parts of the world. it’s only the beginning tbh
sales will likely increase cos of her and they are already getting ready to open a new store in the same borough aside from the current flagship and multiple stores already present. they are also looking at renovating over 300 stores worldwide and that’d mean more potential ads
just adding this here:

“She is Saint Laurent in the way she lives, in the way she takes charge of how she dresses, in her way of liberating herself from the crowd,” says Vaccarello.
