Publications like @briarpatchmag, @socialistprojct & @rankandfileca were writing about this issue for years but the mainstream didn't care to pick it up (while generating ad revenue off Chartwells & Extendicares). Here's a Briarpatch piece from 2011: http://bit.ly/3bdf4pw 

And of course, unions and groups like the @OntarioHealthC too have been reporting this for years. As Natalie from the OHC said to me, "We would say it but they just wouldn't report it"
