He also didn& #39;t apologise for any of them, but for the first one at least he later said he didn& #39;t believe it anymore and it didn& #39;t matter that he& #39;d said it cos it was in the past
This also shows that it& #39;s oversimplistic to say that he& #39;s a transmedicalist. He& #39;s had a veritable smorgasbord of shitty takes about trans people and has never apologised for anything. He& #39;s always struck me as someone who doesn& #39;t think before he talks or acts.

So this thread isn& #39;t about Contrapoints, but it& #39;s kind of inevitable that she& #39;s coming up so I thought I& #39;d just state my feelings about that whole thing:

... famous trans person, and that& #39;s what the community does to trans people who get too famous. She also said that he& #39;s just old and doesn& #39;t know the up to date language to use.
As someone who& #39;s been around a while and seen Buck do shitty things and cause harm to the trans community for years it was kind of personally insulting to have someone dismiss my and other& #39;s feelings on him like that, particularly by someone who& #39;s only been out a couple of years
Seriously if she wanted to know why people had issues with him I could have explained it in like ten minutes, but no, she had to assume we were all just being ultra woke whiny transes who can& #39;t bear to see another trans person get successful
Well now I& #39;ve written this I hope to never have to address it again, hopefully I can just refer people to this thread if they start making assumptions about how I feel about her
