I had many conflicting thoughts about this and it is possible that this will eventually be a thread. We don't live in normal times. But this is not a new attitude. Sometimes it is said in awe, and sometimes in envy. https://twitter.com/magnumlady/status/1390934672499224578
For those who say it in awe, your time will come. It isn't about time alone, it is about mental and emotional
energy. I might have a day off, but if my brain is not with me, six hours of twitter or reddit is my big achievement. Often though, that isn't it.
People spend their time differently. I watch no television. Sure this leaves me time for a bunch of hobbies. There should be no judgment but I didn't watch much of Game of Thrones.
When I get a negative vibe, I feel...sadness, and maybe a little pity. This attitude is born of envy. That perhaps they have done their duty and the only way i had time to do painting Y is because I skipped the ironing.
One thing I realised in recent years is that a lot of our lives are lived to social or other priorities. But...what does this bring us? Envy of those that have the time we don't. Who is living our lives?
If you are ever envious of other people's time, it isbetter to reflect on yourself than lash out at them. Everyone has stones in their shoes at some point.
