The name of the very first female ruler in the world is #Yasovati.

She was the ruler of #Kashmir during pre-Mahabharat war. She was coronated by Bhagwaan Shri Krishna himself.

A few years prior to the commencement of the great war of Mahabharata, the reigning prince of #Kashmir, Gonanda had lost his life in a battle at Mathura where he was an ally of Jarasandha.

Gonanda's son & successor, the then king of Kashmir, Damodara was provoked to avenge his father's death and in pursuit of this object, he proceeded with his quadruple forces towards #Gandhara where Shri Krishna was present at a Svayamvara.

In this battle, which followed with the mighty Shri Krishna, Damodar was defeated & killed.

But Shri Krishna, well knowing the importance of the sanctity of Kashmir, he himself came to the place & coronated the pregnant queen, Yasovati.

Hence the the first female ruler in the world.
