What’s happening in Occupied Palestine? | A thread
In October 2020 the Israeli court justified that Israeli settlers can move into Palestinian homes from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.

The court even ruled that 12 families must pay $20.000 in fees to cover the settlers' legal expense
On May 2, the Israeli ‘Supreme Court’ responded to an appeal from the Palestinians. Their response?

“Come to an agreement with the Israeli settlers that are forcing you out”
Residents are refusing to give up their homes and the court postponed its “ruling” to May 10. Some families only have until next month to evacuate their homes
Since May 2 the situation in Sheikh Jarrah escalated. Far right-wing zionists marched the streets chanting “death to Arabs”.

Military forces raided homes, physically assaulted residents (including women and children) and arrested Palestinian youth defending their homes
Last night - the last friday of Ramadan - Israeli forces even attacked Muslim worshippers inside the Al Aqsa mosque with rubber bullets and stun grenades.
The forces trapped them inside the mosque. Dozens are wounded, but medics weren’t allowed through to treat the Injured.
The situation is continuously escalating, and this is part of Israel’s plan to dispossess Palestinians from their land and take over Jerusalem.
