Starmer is a busy man, he has a lot on his plate right now, but he needs to learn from these elections, so after 48 hours of listening to the different views of Labour supported, I hope I can help him with a few pointers.

I don’t even expect any credit for my plan. Here goes
1. Oppose everything.

Voters need to see you getting in the governments face, holding them to account, so much it up a bit. Even if something is a good idea, destroy them. Ignore the fact that there is a national crisis with Covid and just make it difficult for them, but....
Make sure you don’t come across as ‘sniping from the sidelines’ and ‘opposing for opposition’s sake’, there is a pandemic on after all, and you’ll lose support by being seen as obstructive
2. Patriotism

Labour need to shed its image of hating the country so be a bit more patriotic, don’t go over the top, but don’t be ashamed of the flag.

But....also don’t, because you’ll attract shouts of ‘flagshagger’ from certain factions
3. Fight racism.

The U.K. needs someone to fight against racism right now, and a zero tolerance approaches the only way....

....unless it’s someone favourite MP and then you should give them leeway
4. Protect minorities.

The Labour Party should be a voice for the vulnerable so fight for trans people, the Jewish, the muslims and all other groups

But don’t appear too ‘woke’ or you will lose the working classes as ‘ordinary’ people don’t care about these things
5. Expose corruption

But be careful with which corruption you expose, people don’t care about wallpaper but some are very irate about wallpaper
6. Be passionate

People need to see what you care about, but not too much.....you need to be dependable too
7. Go left

‘True’ Labour is socialist, and although this agenda hasn’t won an election in living memory, you should not veer from the socialist path.

But also win an election
8. Unification

Unite the party, even though they have completely differing political views, and aren’t known for compromise, it’s your job to unite people that don’t want to be united.

Although don’t remove any one, even if they go against the party line, that’s not on
9. Be visible.

We know you tweet daily, update all your social media, do chat segments on political radio, zoom meetings with Labour activist and pretty much smash PMQs, but you are also too invisible.

Oh and no media stunts, but get noticed.
10. Speak for people

Speak to every single voter individually and make sure the manifesto contains a personal plan for every single one
And there you have it Keir, a simple 10 point plan to keeping everyone in the party happy

You are welcome

DM if you need anything else.
Oh I forgot one!

Campaign to rejoin the EU, but don’t ignore the people that voted for Brexit either.
