Why $ddos is a potential ultra low cap đź’Ž.
On an average day there's close to 30k ddos attacks happening every day around the globe. A distributed denial of service or ddos attack can bring down a website and costs small to medium sized enterprises typically $120k and large
enterprises up to $2mil. The current methods to mitigate against this are 1 increase bandwidth or pay as u go bandwidth with supplier or 2 employ a centralised ddos protection service such as cloudflare, both methods of which are costly. An alternative decentralised solution thou
is on the horizon and is being developed by Hacken group partner named Disbalancer. Disbalancers aim is to create a network of nodes that can absorb ddos attacks using untapped bandwidth. This network of nodes and untapped bandwidth will come from users who are staking $ddos
tokens and who don't mind there bandwidth being used. As I understand it, there's a staking app on the cards which I guess will have functionality to connect and disconnect to Disbalancers ddos network, so that your not loosing bandwidth when you want to stream a movie or browse
the Internet. And since majority of households in the UK and I guess other parts of the world get unlimited Internet, then why not rent this potential out when your not using it. I'm not sure of the potential of how much you'll get paid for this but earning potential I think
is good. Currently the market cap of $ddos is $2.3mil, token cost roughly $1.5, maximum supply 10mil. AFAIK, $ddos is the first token to offer this decentralised service and give participants a good earning potential whilst combating ddos attacks.
