I was just live on @RT_com to talk about the "clashes" as RT chose to call it between Palestinians and Israeli occupation forces and It was not pretty.
1st RT chose to start the top of the hour news bulletin with a "Language Sexism" news report for 7 whole minutes
about "oh lala" the French grammar (!). Then Kevin the anchor was kind enough to allow me to say everything I wanted to say. 1st I criticized the RT producer for choosing this disrespectful news flow while 200 Palestinians were injured just hrs ago in Al Quds by Israeli terrorism
Then I proceeded to vent my anger at RT for cropping out my window in which I intentionally placed the photo of my kids' grandfather beside me who was killed by Israeli terrorists in 1977.
Then answering the 1st question which was "is there a right or wrong side in what is happening in Jerusalem". Ok...that hit a nerve and I went all over the place. (Video of the interview to follow)
My problem here is with the always biased media outlets with loterally every news piece unless it is about Palestine..choosing to sit on the sideline is complicity to the aggressors in this case. Would RT choose to sit on the sideline when it comes to the fight against Nazis?
Well, now you know how we feel about you journalists, producers and TV news directors who simply CHOOSE to follow the Israeli narrative because you are too scared to simply tell the truth.
@ruptly_newsroom 's journalist could have been killed yesterday. Thank God he did not.
But you RT framing all that happened around this incident alone is NOT ok. Sidelining the Israeli COURT ORDER that gave way for illegal european colonial settlers to STEAL Palestinian homes in broad daylight, is NOT ok.
I will not stay "friendly" silent for anyone anymore. When there is obvious wrongdoing in any media outlet I will say it even if RT are considered close friends. The terrorism against Palestine affects everyone. Not only the native Palestinian who were praying in AlAqsa mosque.
If you do not what I mean by it affects everyone, google search Atallah Hannah the Archbishop of Sebastia from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem and how Israel tried killing him last year.
I am infuriated about all this why?Because the way Palestine is portrayed in all MSM is sickening. Always from a colonial angle, from the eye of the oppressor, pushed to "unimportant news stories" or "second degree news stories"..why? It is called the privilege of colonial media.
