Persuasion is technique to make people say yes to your requests or ideas.

You can make them do what you want and thus it's the most powerful skill.

1. Scarcity

All the important resources in this world are scarce

Humans grew a natural liking to things that are scarce

Eg.
Most dating gurus suggest to be less available to your crush.

2. Resiprocacity

Humans have an internal need to settle things with each other

If you do a favour then you recieve a favour

If you gift someone , they will gift you something back!

3. Concession

If you ask someone a large request first and they deny it

Follow that up with a small request so they're more likely to accept it.

4. Commitment and Consistency

People like to be consistent in their behaviour and they appreciate those people who are consistent.

Make people commit to something smaller and then bigger commitment later.

5. Social proof

We copy what others do

Show people from others what you want them to do

Eg. When others laugh, you laugh.

6. Authority

We listen to people superior to us.

Factor that triggers authority principles are....

7. Liking

People are more likely to be influenced by people they like

You can persuade them if they like you in the first place.

When making a request , make it with a reason
