For those of you that keep saying that Mikel requires more time, can you please explain to me why?

He himself has come out and said it's time for Arsenal to be ruthless and there is no more time to waste.

If this is the case, do @Arsenal have time to waste on him???

I mean as he is only 1 year deep into management and this is a massive job for any manager, let alone a newbie manager.

Being ruthless, means to make harsh and uncomfortable decisions. And if we are looking for a prime example let's look over to Roman Abramovich.

He continually makes ruthless decisions. 'YES' he spends lots of money but besides the point he's not scared to cut the heads off of those who are not performing.

Di Matteo won him his most converted prize! #ucl and this didn't stop Di Matteo from being sacked!

Guss Hiddink, Carlo Ancelotti, Jose Mourinho & Rafa Benitez all won trophies but this never prevented them from being put to the wayside!

People are forgetting football timescales are accelerated now. Projects timescale are smaller and projects are larger!

Managers cannot not be afforded 2-3 years to find their feet at a club. In 2-3 years you can go from being a top 4 club to struggling in mid table! Or you could go from being on the edge of the relegation zone to being premier League champions!

This season for all @arsenal fans has been a nightmare! Close to a worst case scenario. Besides external excuses that everyone has faced (pandemic, closed stadiums, reduced finance) no manager should use these as an excuse because everyone has been faced by it.

The issues we have seen #afc face on the pitch is f***ing worrying! The football is drab, boring, slow, uncreative with a heavy reliance on youth players.

Team selection at the best of times has been horrific and confusing! Often seems like we are just trying to be too smart.

Prime example of this was our most important game of the season we decided to play a false 9!!! Literally WTF was that all about???

Another example would be against Southampton in the fa cup we decided to rest 7 players for the Southampton premier league fixture 5 days later.

And I could go one and on where we could nit pick at some of these terrible decisions that most fans would agree were stupid and this is all before hindsight!

These decisions are decisions of someone who has had little to no experience in being a head coach/manager!

These are the results where we have lost or drawn at home this season... Bar Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City just look at some of the names of this list and ask yourself.

What were these matches like? Bar the wolves game where we played great football in the first half!

Ask yourself... Were we actually init to win these games?

Was you overly confident that we would win these games?

How do you think these games will play out next season when 'everyone' not just Mikel has a proper preseason???

Also ...

Mikel is talking about being ruthless! But how does he go on to build this squad?

Who are his main go to guys, the ones he can trust and rely on?

Does he go with youth? Or does he go with loans and semi past it experience?

Lastly I ask...

Just say the Kroenkes were to pump money into the club 200-300 million or Daniel Ek was to take over and start an overhaul!

Do you trust Mikel Arteta to build and lay foundations?
