You& #39;re allowed to dislike a work of creativity for any reason
You can dislike a game bc you don& #39;t like the text font
You can dislike the Mona Lisa bc you don& #39;t like the frame
Art is subjective. You are not wrong for disliking it, but you don& #39;t HAVE to be right either

I think too many people feel they need a OBJECTIVE GOOD REASON to dislike something, and that& #39;s dangerous. Because if you are certain that your reason for disliking something is objectively correct, well, that means everyone who likes it must be objectively wrong, right?
I think it comes from internet debate culture. It& #39;s not enough to feel a way, you have to be able to argue it.
But of course it& #39;s subjective. You DON& #39;T need a good reason to dislike the thing. You don& #39;t need to defend it. Honestly it& #39;s fine, you are not wrong to dislike stuff.

Of course I& #39;m only talking about creative works here. Objectivity exists in science etc, and that& #39;s super important. But art isn& #39;t like that. Just look at the difference between critics and audience scores on Rotten Tomatoes for an obvious example.
Now, shit, trashing something in a video is fucking AWESOME content! I LOVE watching Youtubers trash shit I don& #39;t like in hour long videos!
But I enjoy these as an indulgent bias confirmation rather than any kind of objective viewpoint to think less of others if they disagree
