Booking a slot for #vaccination in #Mumbai is certainly challenging because of the limited number of slots available. You need to be extremely swift and alert.

Here is how I booked a 18-44 slot for Cooper Hospital, Mumbai:

1/ Follow @mybmc and switch on notifications from them.

This BMC Twitter handle notifies us of the exact time when the slots will be made available on the CoWin website for Mumbai. This is super helpful to plan.

Usually the slots open between 7.30 - 8.00 PM for govt. hospitals.

Subscribe to the Telegram channel ( https://telegram.me/joinchat/rS_u0P3iCGFiNTU1) for alerts for 18-44 age group wrt all Private and government hospitals in Mumbai.

This channel sends an alert every time there is a slot available in any of the hospitals in Mumbai.

Login to the CoWin website ( http://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in ) exactly 5 mins before the stipulated time (notified by @mybmc).

Every CoWin session lasts around 8-10 mins so you can comfortably book a slot without having to re-enter the OTP (avoiding loss of precious secs).

Tips for booking the vaccine slot -

1. Use a laptop instead of a mobile. It’s faster.
2. Choose the middle or last preferred time slot to improve your chances. Generally, the first slot gets selected the most.
3. Refresh by clicking on ‘Search’ instead of refreshing the page.

And voila! After 5-7 minutes of hardwork, we successfully booked a slot for Cooper Hospital at 8.01 PM :)
