Flying back to December 14th, 1989, a little baby was born in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. His parents gave him the name, Lee Jinki. He's the only kid of his family.

The baby grew up, and he went to Seoul and trained in SM Academy Casting on 2006. Two years after that, Jinki debuted with his stage name, Onew, under the group SHINee, together with Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin.

They debuted with Replay (누난 너무 예뻐) on May 25th, 2008.

Not only being an awesome idol, Onew is also a shining actor. On 2016, Onew won the 'Rookie award' at the 2016 Scene Stealer Festival for his role in "Descendents of the Sun" as Lee Chihoon.

Time went by, and he's now the leader of SHINee that has been going on the industry for 13 years.

On March 2021, after all the older members completed their enlistment, SHINee did a comeback with the title track, 'Don't Call Me'.
