This is my 10th surgery but my first at @Swedish and the inpatient experience has been terrible. Made me wait an hour off of my pain meds for food delivery when they could have brought a snack and saved pain. FORGOT TO PREP my non-pill prescriptions putting me at risk tonight.

I had a fundoplication which means I’m on nothing but liquids for 2 weeks. I have gone over my prescriptions with no less than 4 people to prep for today and was ASSSURED TWICE TODAY they had figured out my liquid-friendly alternatives. Night nurse says there’s NOTHING.

If I miss my Topamax tonight I’m basically guaranteed to get a severe migraine on top of the extreme throat, shoulder, and abdominal pain I’m already in. Plus 2 other meds. This isn’t just an oopsie. @Swedish is unprofessionally f*cking with my health.

There have been plenty of other smaller issues since getting admitted but I was trying to be patient and gracious despite this being my 4th surgery in 10 months. THIS f*ckup is beyond the pale. I was told twice TO MY FACE today this was under control!
