I recall being asked about Ohio's junior senator's portfolio in regards to medical related holdings. Is there anything else specific you guys want me to look for?

The financial disclosure form gives you a peek and points you in the direction to look. It is just a start. /1 https://twitter.com/TPrevoJr/status/1390742151194202113
Things get interesting when you plug the different ticker symbols into Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, Marketwatch, Nasdaq and other sites. The information is public, and freely available for the most part. I like that yahoo Finance tells you what some funds holdings are. 2/
I also appreciate that it isn't terribly difficult to determine what's a tax-exempted investment, and whether it's exempt from state tax, federal tax or both. Also a rough estimate of the income derived is easy enough.

Details are boring, but we should pay more attention. /3
For example, I've gone through the first 10 listings, and I have to tell you, there's a lot of infrastructure in those funds. The traditional kind; mass transit, water, gas, electric... so maybe what he wants is more money directed to those to boost his tax exempt income. /4
The GOP is against Big tech. Allegedly.

Not Portman's portfolio. His most profitable mutual fund holding has plenty of Big Tech. Up to $1 Million in income; unclear if federal tax exempted, state tax exempted, or both. /5
Calling it a night on the search for info for now. 20 entries in out of 94. Have to double check a few items, but for those wondering about medical holdings, he has holdings. Will pick up this thread later.../6
Additions to this thread will slow down as there is a lot to dig through. I'm through the first 40 listings out of 94. As I'm tasked with medical holdings for this dive, I'm currently up to 15 companies I can confirm he owns a piece of over 24 of the 40 holdings checked. /7
