ATTENTION businesses: if I see a sign like this I will immediately interpret it to mean "we give our employees shit wages and working conditions and refuse to adapt our business model to reality," and I will walk right out the door without giving you my money.

I mean, I understand that there are a ton of challenges making the labor force sticky right now.
But that&
#39;s precisely the point. If you&
#39;re the kind of manager who blames the lost business of a pandemic on workers being lazy, you&
#39;re not the sort of person fit to employ anyone.
At this point you have no excuse. This month&
#39;s jobs report wasn&
#39;t great, but you know what sectors *did* see a big increase? Foodservice and hospitality.
So if people aren&
#39;t willing to work at your wage, that&
#39;s a you problem, not an everyone else is lazy problem.
