For those interested in local politics, you will know about Tiger Patel the ‘salvation’ of Blackburn. A man who caused a revolution in local politics, with such 'superhero' abilities, he arrives with 'panache' to break the 'stranglehold' in Blackburn, as is claimed in this video

How odd the revolution occurs in one Blackburn ward alone, a ward held by a ‘brown woman’. How odd the call to 'believers' to vote according to their ‘faith’ only heard in Audley?
How odd, this revolution didn’t turn all Blackburn Red wards to Blue? A revolution indeed..hmmm?

How odd The elimination of 'brown women' and 'single use' of 'brown women' in the public sphere appears to have become a trend in the South Asian stronghold Labour wards of Blackburn. Why does no one question or look close? I invite scrutiny. I live in Blackburn.

I urge you to look at what has happened in Blackburn, this is not about Red or Blue politics, this is simply about power, positions, and having the mechanisms to hold on to both. The 'brown women' of Blackburn are simply easily dispensable, an easy target!

Regressive patriarchal norms triggered & local politics is just another arena that misogyny has entered into. Play by the rules or you're out! Manoeuvring the networks of 'community' is hard enough-but when they enter every sphere of the public & private domain-where do you run?

We learn to survive within patriarchal structures reinforced by 'white complicity'! I ask-why do some keep looking the other way? Cultural Relativism-not enough 'substantiated' evidence, 'this will cause offence'? All justifications that maintain the unacceptable status quo!

Some women within the community 'accept', some 'conform', some 'withdraw' and others 'confront'. Guess which woman I am? that 'gorafied' 'troublemaker', that 'lazy so and so..' The one experiencing 'sour grapes' or the one that just needs a Good 'f****** & more? Take your pick

So, yes, Insidious, sophisticated sexism at its best, and so far, the Blackburn local political track record shows in we 'brown women' are viewed as only fit for single-use purposes, we are dispensable, throwaway tick-boxes.

Our second class treatment, our worth is blatantly undermined, our efforts trampled upon with no care. But of course, I have been told and I must learn, 'all is fair in, love, War and POLITICS'

Stay compliant to stay 'safe' and climb those 'greasy politically oiled poles', not me though! Chuck every name at me and slur, I will wear them and own them ALL without fear! Every tear I shed motivates me more and more! #SheDaredSheWon
