Many folks seem to be freaking out because the 266,000 jobs created in April is extremely far below exoectations. One seemingly question is why are expectations so high in the first place? Apparently, some folks simply expect the economy to come roaring back.
That is simply naive and unrealistic. But now to facts.

Prior to the #COVID19 economic collapse, two thirds of all jobs created in the US were created by small businesses.
In addition, many small businesses are, and were, created and run by women, many of whom have been forced out of the employment market because of #COVID19.
Many of those businesses no longer exist. The #COVID19 economic collapse killed them. Therefore, rebuilding the economy abound creating jobs is far more than big businesses putting out "for hire" signs, or scouring http://Indeed.com  or LinkedIn.
Therefore, there have been structural changes to the economy because small businesses were devastated.

It will require the recreation of businesses that served as the Primary engines for jobs creation. It will also require supporting women in small business, too.
