It's been a while since we did an update.

See reply thread for all info.

We haven't been lazing around the Tahoe beaches too much, I promise!

Covid has affected many furcons, including startups.

Keep Tahoe Furry is still on track to becoming a furcon!

(cont)
We have just pushed the dates back by a year till we open.

Covid has made it hard to move forward as many things involved with starting a con have to happen in person and all those events had to be delayed.

(cont)
So rather than rush the opening of Keep Tahoe Furry we will push it back to 2023 spring time.

With vaccines becoming readily available things recently have been able to move forward again!

(cont)
The resort lodge where Keep Tahoe Furry will be located has also been a joy to work with. The staff there are aware of the fursuiting community and look forward to hosting a small convention there.

(cont)
We do mean small, the estimated max growth will be 350. This is due to a lot of factors, but mostly due to the resort's limited size
The Lodge is nestled in the woods with cabin style rooms. These Townhouses range from 1 bedroom to 3 bedrooms & most come with a complete kitchen
But don't fret, there are still standard hotel rooms too.

On site is a ski hill with powered lift and a sledding hill that we have permission to fursuit on! You can walk outside your townhouse room and just a short walk you can go skiing or sledding!

(cont)
Our goal for Keep Tahoe Furry is to be very different from other cons.

We are out in nature, away from the city, large block hotel and airports.

(cont)
We want to be a more slow paced convention, less activities planned giving members more time to socialize with each other and we want to encourage going off site to travel and enjoy Lake Tahoe beauty.

Thank you for taking your time reading this.
We apologize for not following through with the original planned opening date.

When we open up we hope everyone that makes it to our small con will make new friends, be enjoying the great outdoors and of course have a lot of fun!
