Be it as a writer, or an illustrator, or a musician, or whatever, if you show me something you created I'll happily give it a try and if I like it I'll give you my thoughts & share it with others. BUT, and this is important, nobody is obligated to partake in a charity case. 2/?

Creating art is a marvelous thing, but *lots* of people do it and we don't have the time to help every single person in the world, so naturally we prioritize stuff from people we care about: friends, relatives, and here on twitter, close mutuals who *interact* with us, right? 3/5

If the only time you ever interact with me is when you send me DMs with rly convoluted instructions on how to make an account on a random website to write a review for you, then of course I'm not gonna fucking do it. And of course I'll air you if you don't get the message. 4/5
