Excited for eBird's #GlobalBigDay tomorrow. In what may become a tradition, my focus will NOT be on trying to find the most species (North America is pretty well represented on Big Days) but rather to visit underbirded hotspots. (1/X)

I used the eBird mobile app to find the hotspots within a 30 mile radius that have not had a new checklist submitted in the longest amount of time. (2/X)

Based on that, I have selected 5 spots to visit tomorrow. These places are eBird hotspots but haven't seen a new checklist in 6-9 YEARS. And most of them have only ever had 1 checklist in the first place. (3/X)

It can be fun to see what can be found in these "unknown" hotspots. I'll add to this thread tomorrow to catalog how it goes! (4/X)
