That's a great @ChrisPollone story.

@LaurnSmith and I flew to Edinburgh from JFK and that night every road project in NYC was full bore.

You're supposed to arrive for international flights two hours early. We ... did not. Our trip, those expensive tickets, hung in the balance. https://twitter.com/ChrisPollone/status/1390742387325014018
We get to the airport and Ren looks at me and says, "Are you ready to run?"

I remember it as her smiling. She remembers a full and deep panic.

But I'm always ready to run.
The sky caps shut it down an hour before the flight, apparently. Procedures and rules. We got to the departures curb about 55 minutes prior to the flight, despite leaving *well early.*

The sky caps were cool though. "Take a breath. Tip me. I'll get it there."
The TSA agent at security misheard us. We had 50 minutes before the flight and we were rightly a little put off. When do they button up the plane?

"Fifteen minutes? Come with me baby."

Then two TSA agents got into an argument about it, but love wins and so does desperation.
We made it to the plane and our seats before my in-laws even got out of the airport.

Had an easy flight and a great trip and I'll always like JFK for that experience.
