/ Several mistakes I made in personal development :
/ Try to make a fast, unrealistic jump, that wasted resource and time, and is actually counter productive.
/ Getting stuck in a single direction, not willing to switch to an obvious, much better direction somewhere else, due to big sinking cost.
/ Not even realize or understand where my bottleneck is. Take things for granted without realizing bottlenecks can be broken or circumvented.
/ Not giving enough time for things to mature, try to force the situation, when it is not ready or obviously not sustainable. When waiting a little longer, the problem would resolve by itself.
/ Compounding is a process, not a destination. If you allow compounded growth to go its natural way, given enough time, it would far exceed your initial modest goal.
/ Enjoying the process is equally important as end results. It would consume very little of your mental reserve of will power and allow the process to be sustainable.
/ Always seek to grow/build on the biggest platform/ecosystem, it will make the compounding faster.
/ Having a much longer time horizon for compounded growth, is more important than anything else. In the long run, new emerging opportunities are always exponentially better than the old ones. Back in 1996, a $25 mln sale of a software company was considered a big success.
