Gotta admit, I’m giving side eye to this mini-trend of leading men being too cool to star in shows with happy endings.

Just say that you have better options or they’re not going to pay you enough. No need to roll out these statements that throw shade on viewers who wanted to see your character happy and tell us it’s more ‘interesting’ or ‘unique’ this way.

I mean, ‘unique’? haven’t run the numbers, but I guessing there are far more leading roles with men who save the world from blowing up than there with men a year into a healthy relationship. *That* would be unique.
