Having worked as a professional actress in Theater, I’ve never come across a play or musical where the main characters had romantic scenes & then ended up with another actor.
Name a play where two main leads ended up with someone else at the end? Doesn’t happen. #teamlucas

With my experience in network tv (NBC)- much planning, time, & money goes into marketing, production, ratings.
I could expand on this in great detail, but promo photos, couple photos released to magazines, preview scenes are to tell audience who & what to watch. #teamlucas

The networks don’t waste money promoting people who aren’t the leads, and they don’t mislead the audience for this style of show.
