With the recent surge of interest in $FIRO @firoorg, I wanted to share what we are trying to build: private digital money. But what do we need? The first thing is strong privacy tech. No backdoors, high anonymity set and a construction easy enough to understand. This is Lelantus.

The second is a distribution mechanism that builds community fairly. PoW. Firo is one of the most profitable coins to mine with commodity hardware (GPUs) today with MTP and we intend to keep it that way with our transition to ProgPOW soon. No ASICs or botnet farms.

The third is liquidity. We were one of the earliest projects to experiment with community market making via @hummingbot_io or unlocking masternode liquidity via @stakedTokens. We have an integration with @AtomicDEX that uses atomic swaps and more DEX integrations in the pipeline!

We also want a robust, decentralised and secure infrastructure. Our masternode network of over 4000+ nodes is among the biggest and reward users who host our nodes. These nodes not only maintain the ledger but provide protection against 51% attacks via LLMQ ChainLocks (thx Dash!)

Unlike other privacy projects, we are also big believers in the possibilities of DeFi to make $FIRO more useful. We are one of the only privacy coins with bridges to both #ETH and #BSC along with millions locked in incentivized liquidity pools such as @SushiSwap and @value_defi.

We also want adoption and usability, hence us working closely with partners such as @travalacom @LockTripLOC @guardarian_com @ChangeNOW_io @NOWPayments_io to make FIRO spendable in the real world. We are focusing hard on instant send, UX and light and mobile clients this year.

Lastly we see ourselves as privacy infrastructure for all with our upcoming Elysium tokenisation layer allowing anyone to build their own token with Lelantus technology. This can be used in private stablecoins or used to hold blockchain elections such as what we did in Thailand.
