I no long support @/succulentbud and @/orquidiaart due to the recent accusations of race faking, faking being trans and faking autism as well as attacking smaller creators and minors with their large following. None of this is acceptable behavior 1/?
Faking being trans for any reason is dangerous and honestly just dumb. You put trans and nb people in danger. Being trans isn't some fun little trend and way to get sympathy points on the internet 2/?
Race faking is the obvious red flag to me. There are so many faking their race for whatever reason and it's fucked up. Us white people DO NOT AND WILL NOT ever understand what BIPOC go through on a daily basis and it's disgusting you want something from that struggle 3/?
Faking ADHD and/or Autism is so gross. Having adhd has become the new trend and it's gross. Being ND is actually very hard and is not something to capitalize on. Giving yourself labels and diagnoses doesn't make us feel more comfortable to be around you, it's mockery 4/?
I truly liked those two. I liked their art and how I as a chubby trans person felt seen but I've been seeing their toxic behaviors unfold over Twitter. Don't have your large following harass people or attack minors for something you don't like. Twitter isn't your safe place 5/?
I have read the kiwifarms thread that was made in May of 2020 bringing to light all the things that are happening now. Fetish artist is not the word I'd use for them (although I see why the OP chose that to describe them) 6/?
I'm going to end this thread by saying do not attack anyone mentioned here. I'm simply sharing what I've discovered, warning others and sharing why I no longer support them. It's disappointing that people who were representing so much turn out to fake and lie about themselves 7/?
