2 DevOps companies: $PD & $FROG. Both IPO& #39;d at a high offering price and lost ~50% market cap as they attempted to build a base. In 2020, $PD found support, lost it after reporting soft guidance(https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👇" title="Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten" aria-label="Emoji: Rückhand Zeigefinger nach unten">), based where it closed on that same earnings reaction, then soared >100%.
Today, $FROG is experiencing the same market punishment as $PD did last year. A reaction from "soft guidance". 2021 is not 2020 but these stocks are acting eerily similar & I would not be surprised to see $FROG continue to follow $PD& #39;s footsteps.
DevOps is essential today. It& #39;s also a crazy high margin business (>80% GM). $PD has a great product, team, and grows 25-30% annually (phenomenal company). I haven& #39;t analyzed $FROG extensively but they& #39;re growing at >35%. Both trade at similar price-to-sales & market cap.
I don& #39;t own shares in $FROG but $PD was my 2nd most lucrative trade of 2020 as a result of buying a similar dip as $FROG& #39;s today (bought @$25, sold above $50 in 4 months). Sometimes being a contrarian to stock price action pays off. This is not advice, just sharing my thoughts.
Any developers or startup vets care to share their perspective on the similarity of these companies (not their product offering but their value-add)?

Any technical traders have thoughts on this thread? I know you& #39;re successful trend followers so you& #39;ll stay away from $FROG but I always appreciate y& #39;alls perspective.
