Matt Southall first came onto the scene in SE7 at the end of 2019. After many years of awful ownership, and with the club serially underachieving, both the club and the fans were desperate for a change.
The first red flags came in Southalls first transfer window. In short, lots of promises were made, lots of deals were hinted at, but we ended up leaving the transfer window with just 3 loan signings. Months later we discovered we were under an embargo due to no proof of funds.
It eventually came out Southall effectively stole millions from the club, including transferring over ÂŁ1million of personal debt owed to Laurence Bassini to the club, buying himself 3 range rovers, and getting a long term lease on a luxury London appartment
The key for this to work was having a âmoney manâ, Tahnoon Nimer. TN pretended this was always an investment dream, trying to win the fans over on his social media accounts. @Eralwbd is the Nimer of this new plan, and you only have to look at his instagram to see the similarities
