It's time to take Islam seriously.

Note: This thread is exclusively for Practicing/Non-Practicing Muslims and those who are blindly following islam so I am presuming you already believe in Allah. 1/

P1: You Exist.

P2: You did not come from nothing nor did you created yourself.

P3: Allah created you.

P4: He created you for a purpose.

P5: The purpose is to know him, to worship him and to revolve your entire life around Islam. 2/

P5: And if you are not fulfilling it then you are certainly in big loss.

Because you can't love someone, worship someone you don't know anything about. (i.e. there is no place for blind faith in Islam) /3

Imam al-Haramayn al-Juwayni (leading scholar/master of the two holy cities) said that nazar (that is, engaging in a deliberate process of rational inquiry regarding the foundations of faith)..../5

...is an obligation for all Muslims who have reached the age of maturity and must be undertaken in order for their faith to be considered valid. /6

He stated in his book kitab Al-irshad that the first obligation placed upon a Muslim is to establish the foundation of their beliefs in other words to establish rational justification for their beliefs and he deduced this from 47:19. /7

The verb used for ilm ( فَٱعْلَمْ ) as explained by imam Al-juwayni is to seek ilm and the term ilm means Knowledge with certainty. /8

Finally, Imam ibn-Kathir in his tafsir stated regarding 3:190 (there are indeed signs for men of understanding), referring to the intelligent and sound minds that contemplates about the true reality of things, unlike the deaf and mute who do not have sound comprehension. /8

It's time to reject Pseudo-Modernity and embrace Islam. Because technology doesn't change people we are what we were 4000 years ago, we have the same needs, wants, desires, concerns and fears. Technology just makes things easier. /10
