What in the Republican party is worth saving?
Republicans haven’t represented their supposed merits for decades. Democrats are the party of national security, fiscal responsibility, and strengthening families.

2/ The Republican party has gotten more divorced from reality every single year I’ve ever been alive.
The Bush years were more delusional than the Gingrich years. The Birther Tea Party was worse than Bush. Trumpublicans were worse than the Tea Party.

3/ It’s not rational to believe it’s going to get better. The fever is spreading.
This wouldn’t be the first political party to die. I think it would be better for America if it did.
Conservatives will always exist, but maybe a future conservative party could be rational.
