So a bird flew into my home office window while I was away making tea. My husband called downstairs to me, "Hey, there's a bird in your office," real casual-like, as if this happens everyday & isn't a terrifying thing. 1/

I could see the bird flying frantically to & fro through my office from my safe spot at the bottom of the stairs, where I remained, safely and unhelpfully quarterbacking, as my husband dealt with the not-so-small bird, gently coaxing it back out the window. 2/

Long story short, I have bird shit on some of my files.
