With the release decline of Animal Crossing New Horizons. I thought it would be a perfect time to show people an old game called Magician’s Quest: Mysterious Times! A Life Simulation game published by Konami for the Nintendo DS in 2008 (1/?) #magiciansquest #Nintendo #NintendoDS
Magician’s Quest was very popular in Japan having multiple DS sequels and a 3DS sequel.
The game was then localized for international release and was produced in VERY LOW amounts because Konami believed it would not sell well. It did sell well because of how few copies were made. There were plans to translate and release the sequel but it fell through (3/?)
I think it would be amazing to see this game come back again. Maybe for the Switch. I think the game has a cute, quirky and weird quality that would attract people looking for more after Animal Crossing New Leaf. As well as having a ton of content packed in it! (4/5)
