This 'let's blame Instagram' for the narrative going awry was true in 2018 (I encouraged its use vehemently back then), but in 2021, it is just shredding responsibility and blaming others for the inadequacies. Let me elaborate on it further.
Over the years, RW has managed to use Instagram, but honestly speaking, the content is so goddamn boring. Those who want facts and figues, don't make Instagram their source of knowledge.

For appealing to 18-25-yr-old, metro kids, you need someone with who they can connect. It is the leaving out of the nest age, where one is forced to get acquainted w reality, which is not always pleasing. The world seems evil. Driving factors are criticism & non-affirmation.
They are quick to form biases and even quicker to label. The RW fails many times to appear on the right side of things, due to defending the indefensible, sexism, casteism, and whataboutery. The other side may be more extreme versions of this, but on paper, they look pious.
This has been proven many times. Be it Kathua, Hathras, or even Corona. Action has been taken, guilty punished and the narrative, lost.
Trolling doesn't always work. The right has a habit of pushing people away, many of their own because of incessant mindless trolling.

Hence, blaming the Instagram audience that they don't get you on Twitter makes won't help. And on a platform where there already a negative connotation attached to you, being an extremist, and going all ballistic at them at once won't help either.
As far as narrative is concerned, defending is always much more difficult than attacking. Pre-2014 people know this the best. However, when someone accuses you of doing something, you can't say you did the same, why blaming me now. Mistakes of the present > mistakes of the past.
RW should be able to blend in, slowly and stealthily convert and then dominate. They can't stand out and be the odd ones out.
They need to be able to relate to you. And this goes much more than lingo. It needs more young people from diverse backgrounds. (Not just angry boys)

Slight criticism doesn't mean changing sides. Mostly it is well-wishers who are disappointed and expect better. But at the end of the day will vote for Modi only. Abusing them will alienate them further and serves no purpose. Secondly, some criticism has to be tolerated.
It is very well within their right to criticize. Trolling, abusing, hounding someone to the point that they leave this application and move to Instagram doesn't serve any proposed.

If you want duds, who have zero thinking abilities and follow a tweet format, then please continue this trend. But if you want intelligent people who can apply their minds, this won't sustain for long. Online mob lynching and threatening have to stop.
Conclusion: Using Instagram is not enough. One has to be in line and sync with the current generation.
