The "trad" model of purpose is just feminism masquerading as traditionalism. The idea of family-building being the sole, supreme purpose of human life is one that has historically been reserved for women, because that is what they're biologically and spiritually designed for
This is not to say men aren't inclined toward fatherhood, but much of their purpose also lies outside the home, or rather outside the bounds of safety and comfort. Men have an innate desire to go to war, explore, create, push themselves beyond constricting boundaries.
Trad women suggesting that men should "drop their ego" and find some way to romanticize driving the kids to soccer practice as a heroic journey have no right to ask things like "Where have all the real men gone?"
