*Breathes Deeply* Okay, lemme talk a little bit about "canon." I know, touchy subject and everyone has their own ideas, but by and large it seems misunderstood.

An important thing to remember, is that #StarWars is, and always has been, established as a MYTHOLOGY.
Mythology, in general, can be unreliable in terms of narrative cohesion. Back in the day, stories were told by an orator. As such, the story being told (boasts especially) can alter from storyteller to storyteller.

This doesn't make any ONE version any more/less "real."
The broad strokes of the story never changes. Rather, it's the MINUTIAE that changes subtly from telling to telling.

This is the case with #StarWars.
Take the Ahsoka novel and the Siege of Mandalore "discrepancies." Sure, the dialog spoken between the two are different in each instant, but the fact that the two BATTLED during this particular conflict, on this planet, at this time, doesn't change.
Same for the recent #BadBatch episode. Do the smaller details of Kanan/Caleb's survival of Order 66 change the fact that he survived when his Master didn't?
I'm all about canon, and I love it when thing line up. By and large, #StarWars is doing a better job of it today than ever before. It's important to remember, however, that canon has always been in reference to the facts of a story, not necessarily the details.
I mean, yeah, if you have things that dramatically change the story, that can be problematic. But changes in smaller details, dialog, etc can simply be looked at the storyteller's recounting of the mythology.
