If you are overworked and underpaid at your job it is your fault.

Your boss will abuse you to the extent you allow it to happen.

1. Stand up for yourself

2. Demand a hire and delegate your low value work

3. Quit

You have three options. All are uncomfortable.

It’s on you.
It’s time to take ownership of your work-life balance.

You are most-likely overworked because you’re a poor delegator / communicator.

You have a lot more leverage and control than you think you do.

Especially if you’re a valuable asset at your company.
There are solutions aside from "work harder" and "my boss sucks" and "everyone I know works like this".

Delegation isn't instilled in the mind of employees.

You have to develop it yourself.

Your boss WANTS you to be more productive and add more value.
Most times that means delegating, saying no, and managing others when you have too much on your plate.

Your boss is ready and willing to give you the tools.

Work smart, not hard.
The problem:

Delegation is the hardest thing in this world to do.

So 90% of people suck at it, have no chance to make it happen, and will continue toiling away for the rest of their careers.

Even if you aren't an entrepreneur, you need to think like one at work.
I hear high earning friends complain about work hours constantly.

I dig in and find out what they're doing.

The cold hard truth:

25% of their work in a given day could be done by a $4.50 an hour employee in the Philippines with 20 hours training.
They just aren't willing to do the work to get that crap off their plate.

They are afraid to stand up to their boss because they think long hours are glorified.
NEWS FLASH:

Your boss wants to give you the tools to succeed, add tons of value, make a lot of money, and make the company a lot of money.

They are ready to help you do MORE higher value work and less lower value work.
