There's a lot of subtweet happening on this platform and I'd like to refrain from further participation but I'm compelled to respond to some tweets because I think I am liable to explain.

Many casually accuse "cpim people can't take critcisms" although stated as a+
generalized statement against the party, you may only be referring to a counterpart. Very well but show me another party whose cadres or members will listen to criticisms that can be refuted with valid arguments.

No, you only say that about cpim because it's a decades old bias+
which has much to do with the kerala media; manorama and it's likes ofc, ingrained into popular consciousness. Communism-dicatorship- oh no! *panic cries*

When party cadres defend the party's decisions, i. e respond to your critcisms (wherein you're questioning+
those decisions), we're not attacking you. Get that straight please. We're simply pointing out the rationale and party's analysis that has gone into the decision making, the historical precedneces, context etc. It is our responsibility as cadres to respond.

This is precisely+
what activists do during election campaigns. We go from house-to-house, talk to people, ask them to express their views. Ofcourse, some criticize the govt., its decisions and we explain why this decision was made. We show them the side of the discourse they're missing or that +
has been deliberately sidelined by mainstream media narratives. We're not butthurt-that is not why most of us here respond to you critcisms! It is because we want you on our side, we take the pain to engage. I mostly don't engage with people who're not ready to listen on twt+
anymore.
The people are everything - if we're not able to get across why we took a stance- then what's the point of doing something for them?

On must occasions, the criticisms are also placed as though it is endemic to the party- patriarchy, casteism etc. have a tendency to+
express itself in the party because ultimately it is part of the society, it's composed of people from this society. Read the party plenum, a detailed document full of self criticisms alone including its failure to produce leaders from the subaltern communities, women etc. in+
correspondence to their proportion.

The problem is, on twitter everybody sees it as a debate competition or of asserting your opinion, even if uninformed, over the other. Nobody is ready to engage, really listen. About those who use hostility in refuting the argument, they're+
immature I agree but those kind exist in every category not specific to communists. But please do no make that presumption before any indication of it.
also when you yourself use arrogance and entitlement while expressing that poorly informed opinion how do you expect cadres to not reciprocate the tone and be patient? particularly when you gang up and project a 'moral high ground' while dismissing them as 'antham commies'.
