If you blinked, you might have confused this game for the Jays' 9-4 victory ( https://www.snkrbox.com/jays-pull-out-big-win-over-as/) against the Oakland Athletic's the previous day.
After dropping their first two matches against the A's, the Toronto Blue Jays were able to tie up the series with some incredible offensive play throughout the lineup.
While at one point it seemed like no Blue Jays player could hit the ball, the series ended with everyone in the lineup getting a chance to contribute. Danny Jansen, for example, one of the Blue Jays' starting back catchers, launched his first home-run of the season.
For context, Jansen is posting a hitting average this season of about .087, which is abysmal.
