So, the cat is outta the bag! Today marks my last day at @CamdenCouncil and they've just given me a particularly emotional send off
What a ride its been. I'll properly write about it in the next week but some parting thoughts...

/ The people have been incredible. It's a real family. I've made some real friends for life and there are folk that have supported me through a very personally tough year - i cannot thank you all enough

/ Things were going pretty well and then COVID happened. Overnight my job changed and I ended up working with people I may never have had the chance to work with. I have learned so much. I'm hugely proud of Camden's emergency response and of the contribution of my team.
/ We stood up services and products in a matter of weeks. From finding food, to VCS referrals to finding help to a vaccine knowledge hub (that half of London are using apparently!) the team have worked their socks off and they rock.
/ now to get a wee bit sentimental. I'll forever remember @FozluSays driving from Essex in the midst of pandemic to drop off home made Samosas to cheer me up. You honestly are one of a kind and we all need to 'be more foz'
/ Then @louby and @MarMurube sending my son toys to play with when we had to self isolate (as a working, single mum self isolating a toddler with a full time job was pretty tough) you made it so much easier and you still continue to make me laugh so much every time we chat.
/ then there's @bbemma who's been my rock. You've given me the personal strength I've needed these last few months and you are wise beyond your years. I so wish I could rock your headbands but I'm not that cool. You are an inspiration and keep fighting the good fight
/ and what can I say about my best bud @nickcp1 - work will feel weird without a thousand whatsapps from you everyday. We forged a great partnership together and you have taught me a lot. Pub time awaits. Please continue to text me at 5am - you know we'll both be awake

/ Finally, working with amazing leaders like @Georgia_Gould @Gillian_Marston and Jenny (not on twitter!) has been great. I wanted to work for a strong female team and thats what I got. The heart that Camden has is because of the compassionate leadership you all demonstrate.
/ But... I am stoked to be joining the crew at @HackITdelivers @hackneycouncil to lead on the redesign and rebuild of all things social care. It's the thing I care about the most in the sector. To have the opportunity to build these tools from the ground up is pretty incredible
/ thanks for indulging me. Now, for two weeks off to decompress and hopefully sit in some pub beer gardens!
