How can that be?

This is a 40mph dual carriageway & increases the danger to vulnerable road users.

This is Boothferry Rd hill in Hessle.
This level of parking abuse happens every time there are matches at the King George V playing field, which is every Sunday morning 11am onwards & some evenings during the week.

The parking is on both sides of the road.

It forces cyclists into the main carriageway, it increases the danger to pedestrians trying to cross the road & increases the danger to motorists when turning across the carriageway.

The verge will be damaged on Sunday after heavy rains on Saturday
