Alice - "Smiling"
We kick things off with a lovely reminder. Sometimes we do just need to smile. This life has so many avenues to trap and confuse you, but Alice is a wonderfully simple creature. Just smile. Ear to ear. Toothy grins. Life will hit her like a truck later though.

Katie - "My dog Rover"
I've actually met Rover. Pomeranian, ratty thing. I love dogs but "Rover" is a yappy little toadstool. Perhaps he's different behind closed doors but from what I've seen, objectively speaking, it's a crap dog. So it definitely wouldn't make me happy.

Jack - "Nothing"
A certain Simon and Garfunkel song springs to mind. Outside he may be smiling but inside the dark void of Jack's mind is simply a piercing scream. Goth era Jack is definitely imminent. Eyeliner, nihilism, arson...I should probably keep an eye on him actually.

Toby - "Being my friend"
Yep. Toby is happy just being mates with himself. It's a level of bliss I will never be able to reach. He's absolutely content. You know you see those people who holiday alone, eat alone and we all think are sad!? Turns out we're the sad ones. Teach me.

Emma - "My Mum and Dad"
It's an obvious answer. Inevitable. However, I think we (as adults) really do forget just how fantastic some of our Mums and Dads are. The sacrifices they've made for us. In class, we all took a moment of silence to remember just how amazing they are.

Mikey - "Butter"
I exhaled....I didn't even know where to start. I'm still confused now to be honest. I will never truly understand Mikey. He didn't even elaborate. He got up, said "butter" and then trotted back to his chair like that was a perfectly normal answer. Butter!?

Ravi - "When we help people who need it"
Ravi has become hyper conscious to the fact that some people have significantly less than others. He found 5p the other day and asked "Can you help someone with this?" I haven't the heart to tell him I still have the 5p in my car.

Rosie - "Frozen 1, not Frozen 2"
Don't EVER come near Rosie with Frozen 2, she'll either kick you in the groin or bite your nose off. She had a look in her eye similar to that of peak Mike Tyson, pre fight. I'm not getting involved with that, Frozen 1 only please, for god sake.

Wendy - "Cake. Birthday cake...Cake"
Had to think for a second but no, just cake. Doesn't need to a birthday to be happy. Wendy is a girl of simple pleasures. Her world could be falling apart but as long as she has a little lemon drizzle, she's sweet. I'm sure we can all relate.

Ben - "Doing Karate, trying to get my, do, my, high kicks so I can break rocks with my feet or with my hands"
As you can tell he's just gone back to karate class. He also claimed he could beat up a bear with one kick and "Throw" Tyson Fury. So look out Tyson, the king is here.

Remember puppy love? Remember looking at a boy/girl in your class and being so head over heels, mad to the bone, absolutely crazily in love with them. No? Me neither. But Susanna is dead serious about this relationship. This one's forever.
