Also - is there another social movement that people feel ok about aligning with while disregarding its history? (The sex wars happened! There is a lot of writing about them!) Feminism isn't just a label, it's a movement with a body of work and thinking

But the overall tone is a bit "child crying that they're cold and wet because they were embarrassed to wear their mum's cagoule". You know, sorry the cagoule belongs to your mum. But it does actually do the job
