(2) If you truly wanted to learn from queer people you would. We are always talking, we are always writing, we are always creating and relaying narratives about our different experience. Because one thing that queer people are is expansive. You don’t even have to look too far.
(3) These lessons that you keep saying you want aren’t out of reach. But it’s more convenient for you to deflect and to gaslight people when you’re being held accountable. Instead you demand teachable moments at the expense of our humanity.
(4) People insist on being given “room to grow,” which I agree with contextually. But so much societal space is given to people who are causing actionable harm while they’re “growing.” When they’re not even actively growing, yet the same space isn’t given to those that are harmed
