In just under a week, I have achieved the following:

• Bought a house
• Pretty sure I’ve caused my mortgage advisor to reconsider his line of work (bless him)
• Snapped the bumper off my car
• Suffered a really difficult loss (not the bumper)
• Worked 50+ hours in 4 days

• Hit 2 stone weight loss, yay!
• See 8 months of ridiculously hard graft on a project in work come to an end, ready to go live on Tuesday
• Made some bizarre adult decisions
• Cried
• Laughed

...And as Elton John once said, I’m still standing. Girl power and all that!

When your mates buy a house and they’re like “oh, it’s so stressful” and people tell you “it’s the most stressful thing you’ll ever do”. You sort of just nod like, “aw yeah”. Listen to those people, sympathise with those people. I am sorry to those who I did not.
