Guys, I'm feeling extremely anxious, afraid, and alone right now. I just read something on Instagram that mad me really upset. I'm writing a blog about it now because I have to share and things need to be said. I really need a friend right now.
I am literally crying. So overwhelmed by all of your love and support. Thank you all so much.

So here is what happened:
I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a repost by DL Hughley. The repost came from an Instagram page called Baller Alert. This is what the post said:

I was upset by this because this information only creates hate and adds fuel to the fire.

And then I looked at the comment section. Some of the comments pointed out how this harmful propaganda needs to stop and we need to stick together.
But countless other comments said things like:
"Asian people have always hate black people. It's no surprise."
and
"We should boycott those shrimp fried rice eating motherfuckers."

This was extremely agonizing to read. I cannot tell you how emotional I can be. I felt attacked, helpless. I wanted to leave a comment, send a message, but I didn't. I was afraid it would be too emotional.
I stand with the black community and Black Lives Matter. And I want to write a blog about how there are Asian people who stand with the black community.
This discourse is frightening and harmful. I hope my blog will give people a different perspective.
