Oregon spring game notes

/thread
The QB room is deep. Appears as though they might have four legitimately good QBs to choose from. Mario Cristobal all but named Anthony Brown QB1, so the battle is on for QB2. Wouldn't be surprised if one of the rFR 4-stars (Ashford, Butterfield) transfers if they lose out.
Jay Butterfield's very first pass went 40 yards to Troy Franklin
Here's Franklin again. He was awesome.

93 yards on the day for the early enrollee. He won consistently both deep and short, and with multiple QBs. Kid might be special.
WR Kris Hutson drew universal praise for the second straight spring game. This WR corp is DEEP but he'll be a dangerous returner if nothing else, and should be a future contributor. Came out of Bosco as a 4-star CB so will continue to adapt to the position. Has burst!
Hutson TD from Butterfield
Dont'e Thornton is another early enrollee TrFR wideout the Ducks are excited about. Finished with 89 yards. Here he is catching a deep ball from Ashford. I'm telling you, this is the best and deepest Ducks WR group that I can remember.
You'll notice the lack of Ty Thompson clips. He was ok. Finished 5/9 for 74 yards and was the only QB not to lead a scoring drive. Seems like he's fourth in the pecking order at current, but he's a 5-star early enrollee so that will obviously change eventually.
Yep, that's 6'5" former WR Bryan Addison on defense. Tallest CB in the Pac-12?
And of course I had to throw in this stiff arm by an OT
Final thoughts: There's a lot of competition at multiple different position groups, which is a good sign. Of the QBs Butterfield looks like the best passer, Ashford the best runner, Thompson the most potential, and Brown the most experienced.
Thibodeaux should run train this year. Sewell, Flowe, and Slade-Matautia is an extremely fun (and great) LB group. The OL could use some work.
